A simply stunning example of Toyota’s iconic FJ40 Land Cruiser Hard Top featuring the venerable 2F 6-cylinder 4.2 engine and the highly sought-after addition of power steering. The Factory invoice is included in the file, confirming the original matching numbers status, addressed to its original owner who kept the FJ for 43 years. The FJ has spent its entire life garaged in Indonesia.
In 2020 a full nut and bolt restoration was undertaken by a well-seasoned Land Cruiser restorer and a complete body-off, no stone unturned rebuild which has been conducted to an exceptionally high standard. The same can be said for all mechanical elements and running gear. Thousands of man hours being spent in the process ensuring it being correct in every way. Finished in resplendent Nebula Green – its original colour from new.
The interior is sublime, refinished in Tan Nappa with custom door cards, drinks holder and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker, both subtly neat and convenient modifications.
Overall, we are very confident this FJ will stand up to the highest level of scrutiny and would make a wonderful addition to any serious car collection.
All import taxes have been paid and we are in the process of UK registering. Whilst being MOT exempt, an MOT will be conducted for complete peace of mind.
